Japanese listening is a supporting teaching material used together with the intensive text books for japanese majors in the universities. it is jointly made by the japanese department of ecnu,the intermational exchange foundation center of japanese and the authoritative national institute of japanese.
This teaching material consists of four boks,each with a teacher’s book, a student book and tapes.the teaching material, with different emphasis in each book,goes from the basic to the advanced.in book 1, more emphasis is laid on the training of phonetics and the micro listening skills.in book 2,the emphasis is on imoroving general comprehension and enlaryging vocabulary.in book 3,much more importance is atteched to language functions and the training of some key listening skills.and in book 4, more materials related with life are adopted so as to streng then the listening comprehension of situational japanese.in a word.japanese listening,which is compiled both scientifically and systematically,is an authoritative listening teaching material at present in our country.
